📸 Moments captured by Jen. Her most recent adventures. ⤴️

Jen’s interest in working with people began when she was a young adolescent. She grew up in the Midwest and was constantly surrounded by people, whether it be for volunteer work or spending time with family. After graduating high school, Jen moved to South Carolina and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While attending school, Jen’s curiosity and passion for health and wellness expanded. Jen then became certified as a Yoga Instructor, where she also took workshops on holistic health and natural medicines. It was around this time that Jen had started to experience chronic health issues and realized the importance of figuring out the root cause and healing the whole person; rather than working to alleviate symptoms. She decided to move to the Pacific Northwest to further pursue all of her health interests, and attended Bastyr University where she was able to get her Master’s in Counseling Psychology and dive deeper into holistic health and medicine making. While there, her love for whole-person health grew, and it shows in the way Jen practices counseling.

When Jen’s not in the office, she enjoys being outside in nature, adventuring with her partner and friends, trying out new restaurants, going to as many farmer’s markets as possible, practicing yoga, and exploring the PNW.

“fika is a Swedish tradition where people take time out of their day to pause and connect with themselves or others. As a therapist, I feel this is important and would love to share this tradition in our sessions." - Jen
